This is an IA project for a new shop called "Super Crisps" in HK which specially sell all kinds of crisps of all brand.

The first thing come up is the brand image of “super shop”——WE SELL CRISPS (with the slogan we have xxx kinds of chips and snacks from all over the world). I think it is important to show audience who we are and it is good for attract press media and suppliers in this way. It also provide a quick link to today’s promotion which is good for both couples and moms.

For basic select system we have brand, crisp and snacks, then you get into the sub-divide system. I pack flavor, ingredient, package, price, favor together as “always showing part”.

Special Function About Flavor Selection:

“Dropping Plate”
I find that flavor of our product is complex and most time it is combined flavor (like sweet chilly pepper potato chips). So I set up an interesting multiple choice system. It provide some basic taste like salty, chilly, sweet, sour and also some special taste like onion, pepper and so on. Customer can drag their prefer flavor(one our more) in the plate. When our shop is lack of certain flavor, the color of it will fade to gray then you can not drag it any more and system will tell you that “Sorry,we don’t have that flavor.” You can also suggest some new flavors within the system.

Special Category Based on the User Need

“Healthy”
It gathers healthy food in the shop—made of vegetable & fruit, low fat, low salt.I think it is good for working moms who take care of their children’s health.

“Taste New”
For young couples, they are willing to try new things and share with others. So, I set “lucky try”system for random recommenda9on and promo9on, new release for new product in the shop.

“Lucky Try” Machine
This is another interes9ng interactive function in the system. The “slot machine will randomly generate 3 product and you can buy these 3 item s with the fourth for free. You can also get into “my record” to see how many flavors you have already covered and share with public.(There you can also find ”top fan of chips” who cover the most flavors.)

In the product detail page, besides the basic information, I also provide with further information, like product location in the super shop in case user want to go to the shop to buy it, nutrition information, ingredients, allergy advice to meet the special need, typical values, related product recommendation and also recipes recommendation for especially young couples to cook meals. I also provide official web link for the product in case audience want to know more stories behind the product.
